How are things with you?

It’s summer holiday time, and I’m currently enjoying a well-earned rest.

You don’t need to book a five-star resort on the continent to feel the benefit of taking a break.

Just a day or two here and there can make a real difference.

I’m a firm believer that we all need at least a few days and nights away from it all each year.

It can make such a difference.

The Great British Summertime can be a little iffy from time to time, but even a camping trip or a B&B in a different town can work wonders for your mood.

And then of course there is the benefit of getting some sunshine on your skin.

That can feel incredibly healing – and not just because it allows your body to make its own vitamin D – something most of us are deficient in.

Soak up some summer sunshine…

Taking a break to recharge – however long or short it is – can really help us to decompress.

We can find that we return to work with increased inspiration and focus.

You know the saying: all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!
