Knowing what you stand for can help you to live a more authentic life –

And when we feel we’re more authentic, we feel happier.

If you’re struggling to come up with anything, look to the people around you.

What do you admire about them?

What makes you aspire to be like them?

Once you’ve identified what your values are, they can help you to make decisions and ensure your daily actions align with the person you want to be.

When you get to the end of the day, you can look back at your actions and see where they’ve aligned with your values.

Were you kind?

Were you loyal?

This is one of those “slow burn” tips – it’s not an instant hit of happiness.

That over time, will help you to become the person you want to be.

To be proud of who you are.

And being proud of who you are is a constant source of mental sunshine!
