For the last couple of weeks I’ve been sharing with you some of the words in my word cloud doc that I keep next to my desk.
Seeing these words every day help to keep me motivated and are a constant conscious reminder for me to think of the positive.
Today’s word is Success.
Now, I’m not saying I can help you to be more successful
But I do think you can easily feel success.
The trick here is to think of success.
There’s a saying that success is the progressive realisation of a worthy goal.
This realisation is all about the journey and all the winning steps towards that achieving goal
A good place to start is by making a list of your recent successes.
These don’t have to be massive things; clearing down your email inbox, getting to an appointment on time despite the weather or traffic delays or pushing yourself a bit further at the gym.
By making a list of your small wins you soon see all these positives building on each other.
There’s no shortage of books and online gurus who will show you “how to be successful” – and many offer really good advice.
But it all starts with you and your mindset and to start thinking of success
And then, as you start to think of success, you will start to notice and feel the energy of success.
This naturally leads you to have more success in your life.
When you think of success, think about what “success” actually means for you.
For some people, that’s having financial success, for others it could be all about giving back and helping others.
And for some, success means being able to take time off to spend with family and friends.
Everyones definition of success is different.
You are already a success and the only person you need to impress!
And that is another key to maintaining your mental sunshine.
