Inquisitive

Today’s mental sunshine is based on another word from my word cloud

And that word is inquisitive.

Why will being inquisitive help to bring mental sunshine into your life?

Well, studies have shown that being more curious is associated with more positive emotions.lower anxiety levels and more life satisfaction and general well-being.

If you can get into the habit of being more curious and inquisitive about the world around you, it can help to improve your mood and how you feel.

When we are curious about the world around us, there’s always something to be inquisitive about.

You build better connections with the people and things around you if you’re curious about them.

As well as this, approaching what seems like a problem with an attitude of curiosity may even help to resolve the problem.

Hmm, I wonder why this is happening…?

I wonder what will happen next…?

How do I feel about this…?

Why is this so interesting…?

By asking questions and being inquisitive, we can turn something from a negative experience to a positive one.

You can even do this with something really frustrating like a late train or slow moving traffic:

What does that frustration feel like in my body?

Do I feel it in a particular place?

Is it buzzing or bubbling or fizzing?

Does it make a difference if I move my body?

Why do I feel this way…?

Give it a try,

I’m curiously inquisitive to know how you get on!
