Headshot Uses – For Professional Speakers…

If you’re a professional speaker  there are many headshot uses. Not only is it vital that you have a great headshot, you also need to have a range of “action shots” which capture you in full flow. Now these can be taken live at an event but most of the time these shots suffer because of poor lighting, background or they have caught you with an odd expression on your face. This is why I like to get some great talking head “action shots” for my clients when they are in the studio getting their headshots taken when everything is carefully controlled. The trick here is not to look too wooden which is often the case when you try to do posed shots. I always do these after I do the headshots when clients have relaxed into the session and know them how to pose so that their shots look real and engaging.

Now it’s an odd feeling when there is no audience to engage to but as my clients will tell you I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get them fully engaged with expressive faces… I’m not going to give away my secret here but I’m sure you’ll agree that the expressions used in these shots really work…
