Maybe I’m getting a little slightly ahead of myself but with Christmas just one week away I can’t help but think of the fast approaching New Year’s Eve. I think the majority can agree that it is an over-hyped night that ends in crippling taxi prices etc etc etc. But I can’t help but love what it stands for.
With the New Year comes new opportunities, new hope and new realisations. I know that we can all change our minds or focus at any point throughout the year but there’s something about that first week of January where everyone has made new promises to himself or herself to make this year so much better than the year before. Whether these promises last the whole year or not is an entirely different matter but the thought and the effort is there, at least for the first few weeks.
Set yourself a target that you want to reach by the end of the year. Then think about milestones along the way, this will make the end target seem more realistic and achievable. Throughout 2015 do not forget to celebrate your success, be proud of everything that you achieve and allow it to spur you on to achieve more.
To all my wonderful friends and associates, I’d like to thank everyone for helping me in having such an incredible year and I’m very excited to see what the New Year will bring. Spend your time off wisely – surround yourselves with loved ones and get some rest so that you can welcome 2015 with arms wide open.
Have an extremely merry Christmas and I can’t wait to see you all again in the New Year! Bring on 2015.
