Leaving a legacy

It can be a sad existence if we spend too much time thinking about life and what it all means but every once in a while I allow myself to think about it all and what I want to have accomplished at the end of it. It’s easy to think that we are not making a difference but if we look around to those closest to us there is evidence enough to prove that we are.

With Wally Olins having recently passed away and Peaches Geldof’s sudden passing I started to think about how we will make a difference in our lives. It’s easy to get caught up in trivial day to day issues and lose sight of the bigger picture. So I asked myself what do you want to be remembered for? And how do you want to be remembered?

I was contemplatinglegacy this in a business sense and think that it is important to know what it is that we want as an end result. I absolutely adore my job and I believe that this shows through the images that I produce. I want to be remembered as a nice, fun guy that brings out the best in people and then captures that in a headshot for the whole world to see. I am lucky to be so content with the job that I do but if I wasn’t I would like to think that I would have the guts to change it.

In terms of business what do you want to be remembered for? When people speak about you how do you want to be described? What legacy do you want to leave behind? Share your thoughts via Twitter, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
