Team Headshots - Photographer Requirements

John Cassidy The Headshot Guy 07a

Guidelines to help ensure your day runs smoothly

Security: Please check with building security/facilities if permission is required for photography in the building. It won’t be the first time we’ve had shoots stopped mid flow as the appropriate paperwork hadn’t being filled out in triplicate and submitted 6 months in advance…

Health & Safety:  Are there any specific Health & Safety requirements for the building that we should be aware of i.e. PAT testing certificate or protective clothing?

Parking & Unloading: Where possible please reserve a parking space as we will be bringing in some heavy/bulky camera and lighting equipment. If no onsite parking is available please let us know where we can unload and which entrance to use. Could you also provide directions to the nearest long term parking.

Room requirements: Ensure you have pre booked a suitable board/meeting room for the photography. Ideally the room should have 3x3 meters of clear floorspace and a ceiling height of 2.5 meters. Check that chairs and desks can be moved and they are not restricted/joined by underfloor cables. If you are not sure you can always ping over a couple of snapshots from your cameraphone for us to approve.

Air conditioning: It can get very warm under the hot modelling lights so an air conditioned or well ventilated room is preferred for everyones comfort.

Power sockets: Please ensure there is nearby 13amp electrical outlet. We do bring PAT tested extension leads.

Breaks & Refreshments: Your photographer will need a couple of breaks through the course of the day. Please have some cold water and glasses on hand to keep the photographer and subjects hydrated. We are also very partial to tea and biscuits…
